[vc_row][vc_column width=»2/3″ css=».vc_custom_1580985742352{margin-top: 40px !important;}»][vc_column_text]The «intensive program» is where patients from other countries or significant distances will fly into town and have a week of treatment with me at a time. Typically patients will get a hotel near our clinic and will spend all day at the clinic for a week straight.  Each day patients can expect to be treated between 3 and 5 hours. Patients will be given a lunch break and will have 3-4 hours of rest time. This model of treatment works well for patients whose primary issue is their nervous system. The nervous system has the ability to heal extremely quickly, unlike the muscular system.

Where when treating a muscle, we typically need 24-48 hours between appointments to let the body heal, the brain and nervous system can heal in a matter of minutes, so we can treat for 20 minutes, give you 10 minutes of break and then on the next treatment you brain can already have grown new protein’s and be working differently.  This leads to the potential for massive healing over the course of a week and has served thousands of patients very well, patients who qualify for this type of intensive treatment are ; brain injuries, concussions, vertigo, migraines, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, stroke, and neuro-degenerative disease such as Parkinson’s to name a few.

Typically patient’s can expect to see 30-50% of symptoms improve over the course of a week of treatment, although some patients do see incredible 90-100% improvement and occasionally very difficult patient may see slightly less. Not all patients are accepted into the intensive treatment however, so for new patient the first day always begins with a comprehensive examination. If at the end of the examination we feel as if you would be best served somewhere else then we will refer you elsewhere, if we feel we are best suited to help you, then the intensive week can begin. Certain patients may require multiple weeks of treatment, when this is the case, we help to locate clinicians near where the patient lives who may be able to provide care as we instruct in between weeklong sessions.

Prices: This can be a very expensive option and because of that we give the largest discount possible for these intensive patients.  Currently the charge for an hour of treatment is 1950 kr. Which would be up to 9750 kr per day under the intensive model. The discount we offer is massive for these all day patients and we never charge more than 5500 kr per day. This is a savings of roughly 50% which we offer in order to help patients like you who are suffering. This is currently to most affordable option for intensive neurological treatments as most other qualified clinicians are forced to charge 10.000kr or more per day due to the heavy cost of treatment on the clinician. Luckily with our large clinic system we are blessed to be able to offer a more affordable option for patients in need.

What happens after your week of care? We provide a comprehensive list of recommendations to your unique case on homecare including, exercises, nutrition, and coordination with other healthcare providers to help continue to improve your health.

There is also the possibility of private care, where our board certified functional neurologist can travel to you to provide care, this is done on a case by case basis and would require housing and travel cost as well.
